A practical invitation guide
INVITE
with confidence
The pressure is not on you to change someone’s life. Your role is simply to invite someone you care about to join you at a church where you believe they will feel welcomed, encouraged, and supported.
Use the C.A.R.E. Invitation
Connect it to them: Consider a need, interest, or challenge they have shared that Clear Point could help address.
Ask simply and personally: Tell them why you thought of them and clearly invite them to join you.
Remove the friction: Invite them to Fall Kickoff, meet them at the door, sit with them during service, and make plans to eat together afterward.
Extend freedom: Make it easy for them to decline without feeling awkward or pressured: “No pressure at all - I just wanted you to know you’re always welcome.”
Simple Conversation Starters
“Our church is having a Fall Kickoff on Sept. 13, and I thought of you. Would you like to join me? I think it’s something we would both really enjoy. I’ll meet you at the door.”
“We’ve really enjoyed being part of Clear Point, and I think you would enjoy it too. Would you like to come with us this Sunday?”
